Utilities / GPR

Prior to undertaking any construction project it is of vital importance to have an understanding of the underground services and utilities in the area

Our Utility Surveys use the following tracing and investigative methods:

  • Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) using a variety of antennae frequencies

      • Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT)

          • Sonde and Tracers

              • Manhole Inspection and Logging

                  • Existing utility maps obtained from service providers

                      • CCTV Surveys

                          • Site Mark up and Detailed Drawings
                            • The information is surveyed and a detailed map produced which can be used prior to the design stage. This can reduce costs and prevent future redesign and plan changes.
